Late Post

Ran into a moment where I would have to make a bunch of different checks in Manchado for player progress and got immediately discouraged. Decided to work on something else for a bit. Thinking of getting back to working on an RPG map, but a more linear choices matter type of thing where I don't necessarily need to make a thousand checks per NPC and faction.

Another limitation with the engine is that I can't make a giant, detailed, open world. Just with my starting point, which contains a bunch of dev-textured blocks, the map is beginning to drop frames at certain angles. I'd rather not waste my time making this detailed open world if the map lags to 15 FPS. So, I'm thinking of making shorter, linear adventures like I said.

While being discouraged, I made this dumb arena that would give NPCs random weapons/health and run it through an arena. Certain levels would give the NPCs better health/weapons as the player's NPC rose through the ranks. There's a shop to buy upgrades and map effects too. Buuuuut it's unfinished and I CBA to finish it anyway, so here's a very short look at it.
